Larry J. Cooley age 67 of Berrydale, FL. went home to be with the Lord on May 10, 2017.
He was a lifelong resident of Berrydale, FL. He loved to hunt, run dogs, fish, and be with his family. He was loving Husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlie Lee Cooley, Christine C. Cooley, brothers, Ralph, J.C., Robert Earl, Roger, Jerry. Sisters Lela Truex, Martha Johnson, Willistine Glover, Elvenia Brannon, Lavelle Wofle Coffey.
He is Survived by his wife Darlene Cooley, of 32 years. Sons; Eric (Angela) Cooley, John (Brandi) Cooley and Michael Walsh. Daughters; Erica (Mike) Kelly and Leah Roberts. His sister Carol Marie Warrick.
Grandchildren; Miles Baker, Elizabeth (Matt) Holt, Brooke, Landyn, Jayden and Wyatt Cooley, Trace McCune, Tristen and Cheyenne Cooley, Brandon, Brooke (Clayton) Powell, Austin, Savannah, Fisher, Kendra, Alexia, Jacoby and Tracken Kelly and Ben Walsh. Great grandchildren; Bryce, Zemma and Madison Holt, Zaiden and Zaylee Baker, and Waylon Powell and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 16th 2pm at Jay Funeral Home with Rev. Alton Nixton offciating. A visitation will be held Monday from 6-8 pm at our chapel. Burial will follow at Pinegrove Cemetery.
Pallbearers ae Leslie Nelson, Greg Cooley, Mike Cooley, Daryl Johnson, Allen Johnson, and Michael Wolfe. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Cooley, Wendall Cooley and J.D. Johnson.
