Addie Ruth Gomillion
Addie Ruth Gomillion, 84, a native of Jay, Florida died March 25, 2017 in Century, Florida. Mrs. Gomillion was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Ida Bell Moore; husband, Carl Polk (father of her children) and husband, James Gomillion; siblings, Ralph Moore; William Moore; Annie Thomas; Ruby Holder; and Joseph Moore. She is survived by children, Dolores (Juan) Durst, Roger (Frances) Polk, Jimmie (Lottie) Polk; all of Jay and one sister Nancy Bewsey, of Green Valley Arizona. Maw Ruth is survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Jay First Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. and funeral at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel with Dr. George Fredericks officiating. Pallbearers are Josh Durst, John Durst, Brad Polk, David Pugh, Andrew Polk, Brad Bledsoe, Jack Floyd and Dr. Greg Heaton. Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Polk, Lucas Polk, Kaleb Pugh, Jay Durst, Ross Durst, and Braxton Bledsoe.
