Baptist Health Care Selects Chris Ray as the Director of Central Supply
Pensacola, Fla. (Feb. 16, 2016) Baptist Health Care (BHC) recently selected Chris Ray as the director of central supply.
Ray has been with BHC for 18 years and has been part of the behavioral medicine team for the last 15 years where he held various positions from house supervisor to clinical manager.
Ray supports the Nursing Excellence vision of BHC, which is a commitment to excellence in providing world class care through innovation, collaboration and evidence-based practices. He oversees Baptist Hospital central supply department and will facilitate product standardization and stock keeping unit (SKU) reduction at all acute care hospitals.
In his new role, Ray works with the nursing leadership team in building a culture of accountability as we focus on supply standardization across the acute care continuum. He is also responsible for reducing variability of product and creating a well-defined process for systematic learning that supports safe and effective patient care.
He earned his bachelors degree in nursing from Pensacola State College and has been a Registered Nurse for 21 years.
