Steven Wayne Doughty

Mr. Steven Wayne Doughty, age 60, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 in a Pensacola hospital.
Mr. Doughty was born in Waynesboro, MS and had been a resident of Jay, FL for the past 40 years, coming from Livermore, KY. He was the manager at Alston Electric for 30 years. He was of the Christian faith. Mr. Doughty was preceded in death by his father, Kink Doughty.
He is survived by his mother, Alice Doughty of Jay, FL; two daughters, Hannah (Colton) Hammonds of Flomaton, AL, and Taylor Doughty of Jay, FL; one brother, Randy (Tammy) Doughty of Louisville, KY; one sister, Donna Morris of Calhoun, KY; four grandchildren, Annastyn, Chipper, Harper, and Lakynn; and a number of nieces, nephews and other family members; and his fur baby, Sadie.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with Speaker Ken Jernigan officiating. Interment will follow in Jay Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home on Friday from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m.
Pallbearers: Terry Wolfe, Brent Wolfe, Ryne Wolfe, Jake Nelson, Riley Nelson, and Randy Doughty.
