Royals Beat Jags-Prep Scores 12/1

The month of December has started off with a bang for the Jay Royals. On Thursday, at Jay, the Royals beat arch-rival Central. Overcoming a couple of starters in foul trouble early, including Justic Brewton, the Royals topped the Jaguars, 51-44. An intentional foul away from the ball and a couple of technical fouls on the Jags allowed the Royals to build on their lead, hitting 12 of 18 free throws in the fourth quarter. Justic Brewton had 25 points, while Blayne Miller added 9 (7 in the fourth quarter).
