Louise Grant

Doris “Louise” Grant, age 74, of Jay, Florida passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 in Pensacola, Florida. She was born June 16, 1942. Louise was employed with Jay Hospital for nearly 30 years and described it many times as the best years of her life. She loved traveling with her husband, cooking for family, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Louise is preceded in death by one son, Terry Donnell Copeland and parents, Coy and Dessie Jordan.
She is survived by her loving husband, Wyndell D. Grant; three children, Dwaine Grant of Pace, FL, Shane Copeland of Jay, FL and Kristy Goodson and husband Kevin of Jay, FL; ten grandchildren, Joshua “J.D.” Copeland, Brandi Cooley, Delania Cutts, Nichole Lewis, Austen Copeland, Evan Goodson, Summer Joyner, Noah Goodson, Russell Copeland, and Ethan Copeland; seven great grandchildren, Brooke Miller, Jayden Cooley, Tucker Cooley, Wyatt Cooley, Jacob Lewis, Brantley Lewis, and Asher Lewis; and numerous cousins they were like her siblings.
A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in the chapel of Jay Funeral Home, 3853 Highway 4, Jay, Florida 32565, from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Jay Funeral Home beginning at 10 a.m. Committal services will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to University Hills Health and Rehab for their exceptional care given to Louise for the last two years.
