Royals Win!

The Jay Royals made the most of their 2016 homecoming by defeating Rocky Bayou 50-0. The win marks the first for Melvin Kersey as the head coach for the Royals.

Jay went right to work on the Knights early on the ground, leading to a 36-0 halftime lead. James Eddings made the most of his night scoring 3 touchdowns on just 6 carries for 139 yards.Eric Godfrey added 80 yards on the ground for a touchdown. Quarterback  Connor Moye was 2 for 4 for 52 yards, while freshmen quarterback Judd Smith was perfect in the air throwing 1 for 1 for 12 yards. Senior Matt Saylor added a pick six, returning an interception for 78 yards for the score. He also had a rushing touchdown on the night.
