Football is Back!

With the start of school, football is back and starts this week. While Jay and Pace both have new head coaches, Melvin Kersey and Kent Smith, and will play on Friday, Chafan Marsh is leading the Milton Panthers into action once again on Thursday. This week, all three north Santa Rosa teams play in jamborees or kickoff classics. The games don’t count on the regular season record and some will not follow the traditional format as games will next week (i.e. kicking, designated quarters for younger players and JV squads.). Nevertheless, players will get to lineup against a different colored jersey and that is something for them to get excited about.

Thursday, 8/18

Milton hosts Murphy High School (AL) at 7pm. Last year, Milton finished 5-5.

Friday, 8/19

Jay travels to Baker at 7pm. Last year, Jay finished 2-8.

Pace hosts Choctaw at 7pm. Last year, Pace finished 4-6.
