James Thomas White
James “Maytag” Thomas White, age 69, of Jay, Florida passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in Pensacola, Florida. He was born February 20, 1947 in Foley, Alabama to Francis James London and Katherine Mae White. For forty years, he has been a resident of Jay. James loved hunting and fishing, auto racing, and spending time with his grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his son, James Thomas White, Jr. “Tommy” who passed away in 1997.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Bertha Marie Park White; two sons, Kenneth James White and wife Cheryl and Keith Gregory White and wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Glen Day Biddle “Bo” and wife Terri, Shon Lee Biddle and wife BJ, Kenneth Dustin White and wife Shelly, Jake and Cody Lowery, Gregory Keith White, and Elizabeth Ada White; and one great granddaughter, Aylea Michelle White.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 in the chapel of Jay Funeral Home, 3853 Highway 4, Jay, Florida 32565, beginning at 3 p.m. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
