Jaguars’ Historic Season Comes to an End

The Central Jaguars did something this baseball season that had never been done before…make it to the state final four. The 2016 Jags’ baseball team (17-5) can forever hold their heads high knowing they are the first team in Central High School (and Allentown High School’s) history to represent the small community at such a big level.

The Jags lost on Wednesday by a score of 9-4 to Lafayette High School and while that was not the way they would have wanted to go out, the bond that these boys have formed is one that will go on with them through the rest of their lives. And who knows, the Jags could surprise us all in 2017 just as they did this year and make another trip down South to represent the proud community of Allentown.

Go Jags! May you have a safe trip home and may all injuries be healed!
