Cross sets new School Record

-Washington Invitational (3/19)-This past Saturday was a memorable one for sure for Jay’s senior football and track star Braden Cross. Up until Cross finished his 200 meter run on Saturday, the JHS record was 22.57, held by Loren Miller. When Cross crossed the finish line on Saturday at Washington High School, there was a new record. With a time of 22.4, a new record was set at JHS.

Braden, who also played tailback and defensive back for the Royals’ football team, is looking at going to Troy University. He has been a stellar athlete through his career at JHS and we wish him all the best through the rest of track season.
