Boatwright to Serve as Nurse Informatics Administrator for Baptist Health Care

PENSACOLA, Fla. (March 9, 2016) Baptist Health Care (BHC) has selected Shannon Boatwright to serve as the Informatics Administrator for registered nurses. In her new role, Shannon will collaboratively work with education, quality and the information service departments to support clinical and patient care services at all three BHC hospitals: Baptist Hospital, Gulf Breeze Hospital and Jay Hospital.    

Shannon has more than 18 years of nursing experience and originally joined Baptist Hospital as a License Practical Nurse in 2001. She has held various roles including registered nurse (RN), charge RN, assistant manager and clinical manager. Since 2012, Shannon has served as the Associate Director of Nursing Operations. Shannon is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of West Florida with an anticipated graduation date of May 2016.
