Thanksgiving Holiday Closures
The following offices and departments will close Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27 for the Thanksgiving holidays. Regular hours of operation will resume on Monday, Nov. 30.
· Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners, including the library system and animal shelter
o The Central Landfill located on 6337 Da Lisa Road will open from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27and Saturday, Nov. 28
· Santa Rosa County Clerk of the Court
· Santa Rosa County Property Appraiser
· Santa Rosa County Supervisor of Elections
· Santa Rosa County Tax Collector
Garbage pickup for north and south end franchise areas ONLY:
· ECUA Customers – No garbage or yard trash pickup on Thursday, Nov. 26. Thursday’s garbage and yard trash collection will be postponed until the next service day, Monday, Nov. 30. Recycling collection scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 26 will be collected on Saturday, Nov. 28.
· Waste Pro Customers – No pickup on Thursday, Nov. 26 or Friday, Nov. 27. Household garbage, yard waste and recycling collection service will resume normally starting with the next service day, Monday, Nov. 30.
· Waste Management Customers – No pickup on Thursday, Nov. 26. Household garbage is postponed until the next service day, Monday, Nov. 30. Yard waste and recycling collections will resume on Saturday, Nov. 28.
