Berryhill Road Improvements Underway

Santa Rosa County has begun construction of a three mile milling and resurfacing project on Berryhill Road from the new alignment at Five Points eastward to the Pond Creek Bridge. No road closures are anticipated but some delays should be expected. Motorists are cautioned to obey all work zone speed limits during construction. The project is expected to take 75 days unless there are significant weather delays.

The Santa Rosa County Board of Commissioners approved the project at the Sept. 10 commission regular meeting. The project cost is expected to be $1.2 million with $953,681 funded by the Florida Department of Transportation Local Agency Program. The county will be responsible for the remaining $285,650.
