SANTA ROSA EDUCATION FOUNDATION AWARDED $25,000 THROUGH AT&T ASPIRE

Santa Rosa County, FL – AT&T Aspire invests in students today – at home, in the classroom, at work – to prepare them for success tomorrow. At the September 10th Santa Rosa School Board meeting, AT&T Regional Director of External Affairs Ray Walker presented Santa Rosa Education Foundation with a $25,000 contribution to support a Career Ops program for 9th -12th grade students in Santa Rosa County public schools. This award will allow the district to provide selected students with experiences in various local industries. It will also increase their awareness of employment opportunities and the education and training required for them to be competitive in the workplace following graduation. Career Specialists will encourage the students to stay in school and help them formulate plans to prepare for careers in their chosen fields.
