Andrews Institute Welcomes Trevor Turner, M.D.,
The Andrews Institute is pleased to welcome physical medicine and rehabilitation physician (physiatrist) Trevor Turner, M.D., FAWM, to its team of experts. Dr. Turner is fellowship-trained in wilderness medicine and specializes in minimally invasive spine and joint care, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, regenerative medicine and electro diagnostics. In addition, he provides sports medicine care for amputees and athletes with disabilities. Dr. Turner treats patients by appointment at Baptist Towers in Pensacola, Fla. and Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, Fla.
Dr. Turner earned his medical degree from the University of Texas at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He completed his surgical internship at the University of California in San Francisco, Ca., and his residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is also fellowship-trained in wilderness medicine from the Academy of Wilderness Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dr. Turner is a dedicated physician who listens carefully to each patient’s symptoms and history. He strives to help his patients completely understand the diagnosis and all available treatment options, so they feel comfortable and empowered to make the best decisions for their health care.
