Royals win Preseason Volleyball Tournament

Thursday @ Northview- The Lady Royals volleyball team is off to a good start winning the Preseason Tournament at Northview on Thursday. After falling behind 1-0 to PCA in the first match, the Royals battled back to beat PCA 3-2. “We played about as bad as we could play in that first set,” stated head coach Scott Campbell. The Royals then faced Laurel Hill in the Championship game and defeated them 3-2.

Now the Royals look to carry the momentum into next week as the regular season gets kicked off.  “It’s good to win that tournament, but next week, the record is back to 0-0,” stated Campbell.
