THE POWER OF PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW WILL ACCEPT ENTRIES JULY 1-25!
WHAT? 22nd Annual Power of Photography (R) Show — Photo contest and photography expo at the Pensacola Cultural CIenter, 400 Jefferson Street, Pensacola, on August 21-23, benefits ARC Gateway.
WHO? Anyone may compete for 85 ribbons and over $4,000 in cash and prizes by entering their original photo prints in July for juried competition. (Children compete separately.) Event coordinators are the Wide Angle Angle Photo Club, Inc. Show is free to the viewing public in August, including Gallery Night.
WHEN? Contest Entry & Registration is July 1-25. Top scoring photos will be shown on August 21-23 in downtown Pensacola at the Pensacola Cultural Center, 400 Jefferson Street.
WHERE? Photo entries and fess will be accepted during business hours at Calagaz Photo (6895 N. 9th Avenue) or CCP Gallery (126 Palafox Place) in Pensacola; Calagaz Photo in Mobile, AL (90 Springdale Blvd.); or mailed and received at one of these by July 25. No entries will be accepted after July 25.
WHY? Participation promotes the photographic arts at the largest photo show in Northwest Florida while benefiting the disabled children and adult clients of ARC Gateway. POP has donated over $40,000 to ARC in the last 12 years.
HOW? Photo contest entry forms, rules, and information on awards available for POP 2015 are available online at www.wideanglephotoclub.org. Entry fees are required. Photo entries are scored by three independent judges, and the top 300 adult submitted entries will be exhibited in August.
