Joseph “Joey” Lee Beck of Brewton, AL passed away on January 21, 2015 at his residence in Brewton, AL. Joey was a loving son, God-father, brother and a great friend to all who knew him. We love you, we miss you, it’s not goodbye, it’s see you later sweetie. Joey was preceded in death by his mother Jo-Ann. He was survived by his father Joe Beck and step-mother Debra Pittman, uncle Tim, sisters: Adrianna Loftus, Shera Pittman, Cheryl Higgins, Sandy McDonald Gates, Emily Barber, Nancy Rager, and brothers Patrick Davis w/wife Teresa and Jason King, his God-children Vanessa w/Jessie and their son Jessie LeeDavis and Jonathan Guerrette w/Britney and long time friends Rosey Guerrette and Sarah Nall. He was also survived by various other nephews and nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends. A memorial service was held to celebrate his life on Sunday, January 25, 2015 beginning at 2 p.m. and ending at 3 p.m. at Full Gospel Community Church located at 6199 Gainey Ford Road. He will be cremated. The family would like to thank everyone for their concern at this troubling time but would request in lieu of flowers, if donations could be made instead that would be helpful in the cost of his memorial. The memorial will be officiated by Jay Funeral Home.
