North Santa Rosa

North Santa Rosa.com wants to thank our Veterans!

Happy Veteran’s day! As Americans, we have so much to be thankful for and we owe our ability to be happy and free to our veterans and active service men and women.

Veteran’s day is always observed on November 11 (marking the moment when the armistice was reached to end World War I on the 11th day of the 11th month at the 11th hour in the year 1918).

Veteran’s day, which was officially declared a holiday by U.S. Congress in 1938, was originally to be called “Armistice Day.” Several veterans service organizations pushed for the name change.

At Northsantarosa.com, we would like to say thanks to all of our veterans in the area and our active service men and women and their families. Thank you for your sacrifice and dedication. It does not go unnoticed. We are indebted to you and your service. We are because of what you do.

Readers, if you would like to leave a message of thanks to our veterans and active service men and women, we encourage you to do that in the comments section.

Thanks and God bless you!
