John Riehl, M.D., Joins Andrews Institute Orthopaedic Trauma & Fracture Care Team Gulf Breeze, Fla.
(October 13, 2014) – John T. Riehl, M.D., has joined the Andrews Institute Orthopaedic Trauma & Fracture Care team of experts. Dr. Riehl is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic trauma surgeon who specializes in preventing or reducing permanent disability in the most complex orthopaedic cases. Dr. Riehl joins Jan P. Szatkowski, M.D., Jason R. Rocha, M.D., and Leslie M. Barnes, M.D., in providing orthopaedic trauma and fracture care services at Baptist and Gulf Breeze hospital emergency departments. Dr. Riehl also treats patients by appointment for orthopaedic needs such as simple and complex fractures, foot and ankle injuries, orthopaedic revision surgery, and post-traumatic joint replacement surgery at the Andrews Institute, 1040 Gulf Breeze Pkwy., in Gulf Breeze, Fla., and at Baptist Medical Towers, 1717 North “E” Street in Pensacola, Fla. Dr. Riehl completed an orthopaedic trauma fellowship at the Orlando Regional Medical Center.
He is a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa., and completed his residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa. Dr. Riehl’s proudest moments are when he sees his once severely injured patients walk on their own two feet again. He is dedicated to instilling trust in his patients while achieving the highest quality outcome after treating each patient’s unique injury and/or ailment.
