This week’s games…

If this Friday is anything like last Friday, football fans better hang on. Last week, Santa Rosa football fans saw 3 good games, one of which came down to the wire. Choctaw held on to beat Pace (0-1), 38-34. Milton(1-0) churned up some big numbers on the ground while beating Crestview 38-14. And while the score didn’t indicate it as much (Flomaton beat Jay 42-20), the Royals hung tough with the Hurricanes until the fourth quarter, actually going into halftime with the lead.

This week, expect more of the same type of tough, close games.

Milton(1-0) hosts a scrappy West Florida Tech program- 7:30 pm, Milton High School

Pace(0-1) travels to Niceville, which promises to be a back and forth game-7:30pm, Niceville High School

Jay(0-1) travels to Rocky Bayou (actually to Destin Middle School) to take on a team that continues to get

better year after year-7:00pm, Destin Middle School
