Matt Dobson named Boys Cross Country coach at JHS

Matt Dobson has been hired as the boys’ cross country coach at Jay High School. “We couldn’t be happier about having Matt be apart of our athletic program here at JHS. A person of his moral integrity and his background as a college cross country coach make him a valued asset to our cross country program,” states Athletic Director Lance Youngblood.

Matt graduated from Jay High School in 1987. He then ran for FSU participating on the cross country and track and field teams. His coaching experience includes being the head men’s and women’s cross country coach at UWF for 8 years and served as the head coach at Washington High School.
