Brian Moye hired as JHS’ new baseball coach

Pending board approval, Brian Moye has been hired as the new baseball coach at Jay High School. Coach Moye has been at JHS for three years now as an assistant softball coach serving under head coach Brian Watson and as the defensive coordinator for Coach Smith and the Royals’ football team. He is replacing Jorey Diamond who stepped down at the end of the season this past season after an extremely successful tenure as the Royals’ baseball coach.

Brian Moye has a strong background in baseball and is ecstatic to be the head coach at JHS. “We are excited for him and the energy that he will bring to our baseball program,” states Lance Youngblood, Athletic Director at JHS.

Check back on northsantarosa.com later this week for a full write up and an interview with Jay’s new baseball coach.
