Santa Rosa County. What a great place to call home. A great place to work. A great place to raise kids. A great place to worship. Yes, we live in a wonderful county. A county that offers a plethora of relaxing forms of entertainment that sometimes we take for granted. As is often the case in life, people tend to get spoiled with the things that are abundant around them, not taking full advantage of what they have at their disposal.  One of those forms of entertainment is taking a trip down a river or a creek in a tube, canoe, or kayak.  These pictures were taken on Coldwater Creek in between highway 4 in Berrydale and the Horse Stables. You can make this particular trip in approximately two to three hours, depending on how much of a hurry you’re in. (We don’t recommend  getting in a hurry though…You may miss something  and that would be a shame!)

There are still several weeks of summer left so do yourself a favor…Get out and enjoy what Santa Rosa County has to offer. Whether you take a relaxing ride down the freezing cold waters of Coldwater Creek, a hike through the woods at Munson Pool, or a nice stroll down the beautiful riverwalk in Milton, you will get a true sense of peace and happiness in knowing we are a blessed people in Santa Rosa County.
