Edwards Named MVP in Subway’s All-Star Game
Dalton Wayne Edwards, son of Donald and Monica Edwards was named MVP for the East team in the Subway High School Baseball All-Star game. The game was played on May 22nd. Dalton has been a valuable member of the Jay High School baseball team for several years. In the game, Dalton pitched, and played 1st base. He pitched for one inning, striking out two and fielding a slow grounder back to the mound to get the third out. He also played 1st base and caught a pop up in foul territory for an out. The East team ending up losing the game but Dalton represented Jay well in the game.
Dalton has been playing baseball since the age of 3 and has a great love for the game. He hopes to continue playing the sport in college after graduation.
