Jay’s Boys Basketball Ranks First in 1A
The FHSAA has in place a way to honor student-athletes for their hard work in the classroom, the Academic Team Champion Program. The program recognizes teams in each sanctioned sports, naming an Academic Team Champion in each classification.
Jay High School’s Boys Varsity Basketball team has the highest GPA for 1A in the FHSAA’s Academic Team Champion program. The team members: Tate Upton, Marshall Thomas, Holden McCaskill, Brandon Boutwell, AJ Fraley, Eric Trevino, Thomas Fischer, Justice Garcia, Taylor Kelley, Victor Mishoe. The team is coached by Jacob Jordan.
