WEST FLORIDA REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL HOSTS COMMUNITY MEETING IN TOWN OF JAY
The West Florida Regional Planning Council (WFRPC) will host a community meeting in the Town of Jay regarding the revitalization of the former Jay Livestock Market, located on Commerce Street and Coleman Avenue. The livestock market opened in Jay in 1940 and closed around the end of the century. The town has begun working to revitalize the site and is seeking ideas and feedback from community members and other stakeholders.
In order to gather ideas and feedback on the project, a community meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 15 starting at 6 PM in the Jay Community Center located at 5259 Booker Lane, Jay, FL 32565. Everyone is welcome to attend to learn more about the site and participate in the visioning process.
A short survey has been created to gather early ideas and prepare for the community meeting. The survey can be found at the following link: https://adobeformscentral.com/?f=GHhyExV9Tv335y9lRXXzvw
