Grand Jury indict Banks for Murder
State Attorney Bill Eddins announced today that an Escambia County Grand Jury indicted
Antoine Banks for First Degree Premeditated Murder with a Weapon in the death of his
wife, Alexis Banks.
Banks shot his wife in the head in their home. Several days after the shooting, Banks was
arrested in Biloxi, Mississippi. He will be arraigned on April 3, 2014.
Both the investigation and arrest were conducted by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
Assistant State Attorney Bridgette Jensen is prosecuting the case.
