Charles Greer
Mr. Charles Greer, of Grovetown, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Mr. Greer retired from the United States Air Force after 30 years of dedicated service including the Vietnam War. He later worked at TW Josey High School as JROTC Commandant for 16 years and coached baseball during his time there. Mr. and Mrs. Greer were charter members of Wesley United Methodist Church in Evans and Jay United Methodist Church in Jay, Florida where they were both actively involved. Mr. Greer was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rebecca Greer. He is survived by his daughter, Dwana (John) Dudley; two sons, Tim (Geri) Greer and Keith (Kennda) Greer; three sisters, Helen (Blondie) Jennings, Mary Foreman and Jo Greer; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Jay Cemetery, Jay, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, P. O.
