Jay Girls Win At Central

Hillary Hendricks came up big at the free throw line to hold off a strong comeback by the Jaguars to give the Lady Royals their 14th win of the year (14-10). Central jumped out to an early 8-0 lead early on, and lead the Royals 20-19 at the half. The third quarter and the beginning of the fourth favored the Royals though as they gained a lead of 10 points. Then the comeback began and the Jaguars took a one point lead with under 2 minutes left, 35-34. With less than a minute left, the lead changed twice, before Hendricks was fouled twice, sealing the deal for the Royals.

Friday night, the Royals host the Laurel Hill Hoboes at 530, and 645. Jay’s four seniors will be honored as it it senior night.
