Royals Cheerleaders are Region 1 Runner- up

The Jay High School competition cheer squad competed in the FHSAA Region 1 cheer competition today in Jacksonville. The girls, in their third year of competitive cheer, finished in second place today. In the small non-tumbling division, the Royals were only out scored by the reigning state champions, West Nassau. There was a field of 16 teams in this division.

The girls will be preparing for the State competition in Orlando on the 31st.

Members of the squad: Seniors- Kaitlyn Aguirre, Kayla Flowers, Morgin Mitchem; Juniors- Brittani Ashworth, Makenzie Bray, Alisha Roberts, Kendra Wells; Sophomores- Leslie Kinder, Savannah Dubose, Alaina Smith, Emily Wright, Reilly Andrews, Danielle Harrington; Freshmen- Madelyn Godwin, Savannah Seevers, Miranda Roberts.
