Mickey McNabb

Mickey McNabb, age 51 of Jemison, AL passed away with his family at his side on January 1,2014 at LSU hospital in New Orleans ,LA. Mickey was born in Key West,FL. He was a long time resident of Orlando, FL, also lived in Iowa, Illinois and Pennsylvania and spent most of the last two decades near Birmingham, AL. He is preceded in death by his father Wendell L. McNabb, his step-father William Sexton,Sr., and step-brother William Sexton Jr. He is survived by his mother, Bertha Sexton of Jay,FL, daughters Heather McNabb and Tiffany (Ian) Kennedy of Pennsylvania and Amanda (Chris) Armstrong of Panama City,FL, son Shan Southward of Orlando,FL and five grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Wendell McNabb and Michael McNabb of New Orleans,LA , Don (Merina) McNabb of Levittown, PA and Rick Sexton of CA. and sisters Susan McNabb of Marianna, FL Jeanne (Moo) Brown of Jay, FL and Jennie (Russ) Johnson of Iowa. A visitation will be held from 12-1pm Monday, January 6, 2014 at Jay Funeral Home. Funeral service starting at 1PM with Bill Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Canoe United Methodist Church Cemetery, Canoe, AL
