Santa Rosa Medical Center Hosts Wreath Lighting & Holiday Celebration
Milton, Fla. – Santa Rosa Medical Center will host its annual Wreath Lighting & Holiday Celebration on Thursday, December 5 from 5 to 7 pm on the front lawn of the hospital. Hospital associates, physicians, volunteers and members of the community are invited to enjoy holiday music by the Bennett Russell Elementary School Chorus, hot chocolate and cookies, and a visit from Santa Claus.
The event is free and parents are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture holiday memories with family and friends. Santa will be visiting with children in the Main Lobby of the hospital until 7 pm; he and his elves will have presents for all good boys and girls. Cat Country 98.7 FM will join us beginning at 5 pm and will bring the Cat Country Prize Wheel.
The Santa Rosa Medical Center Auxiliary (hospital volunteers) is coordinating the Wreath Lighting Ceremony which begins at 6 pm. For a $3 donation, a light on the wreath may be designated to honor or memorialize a person, group or community business. The name honored or memorialized will be placed on an ornament on the Christmas tree in the hospital lobby for visitors to see during the holiday season. Funds raised from the Wreath Lighting will go toward the Auxiliary scholarship fund and other community outreach projects.
