Santa Rosa Medical Center Seminar Will Address Hot Flashes & Hormone Changes- TODAY
Milton, FL –Santa Rosa Medical Center will host its monthly Lunch & Learn educational program on Thursday, October 24 at 11:30 a.m. Dr. Michael Barber, a board-certified Ob/Gyn with Santa Rosa Medical Group in Milton and Navarre, will present “Hot Flashes Are No Joke: Hormone Changes as You Age.”
Hot flashes are the most frequent symptom of menopause and perimenopause and occur in more than two-thirds of North American women during perimenopause and almost all women with menopause. Dr. Barber’s presentation will address the causes of hot flashes and how to reduce the symptoms as well as what women need to do to maintain proper health due to hormone changes as they age. A soup and salad lunch will be served to all attendees.
