Award-winning poet leads Monday evening Poetry Lounge

Katherine Nelson-Born, former president of West Florida Literary Federation and award-winning poet, will lead the fall Poetry Lounge workshop Monday evenings, Sept. 9 – Nov. 4 from 6-8 in Suite 212 of the Pensacola Cultural Center. Poetry Lounge provides a relaxed atmosphere where participants apply knowledge of language structure and conventions to read, create, critique and discuss poetry. The workshop’s goal is to deepen understanding and appreciation of poetry through individual expression. Nelson-Born, PhD, is a college professor of English composition and American Literature.
