Santa Rosa Medical Center Welcomes New Directors
Milton, Fla. – Santa Rosa Medical Center recently welcomed two new directors to the hospital’s leadership team. Amanda Saveikonis joined the hospital in June as the director of marketing and business development. In July, Jeffrey Walters joined the team as the director of plant operations.
“We are pleased to welcome both Amanda and Jeff,” says Phillip Wright, CEO of Santa Rosa Medical Center. “Their experience in healthcare and involvement in the community will serve as valuable resources to our organization.”
Amanda’s experience includes all facets of healthcare marketing and communications. In her new role, she is responsible for marketing and advertising, media relations, community outreach, event management and business development. Most recently, Amanda worked at Sacred Heart Health System where she was responsible for service line marketing. A graduate of University of West Florida, Amanda holds a bachelor of science in business administration with an emphasis in marketing. She is actively involved with the American Cancer Society and is a member of the Santa Rosa Young Professionals.
Jeff has worked in the healthcare industry for the past 17 years serving in various roles related to managing facilities. In his new role, he is responsible for the daily operations of the hospital and all Santa Rosa Medical Group facilities, including building maintenance, grounds upkeep, and security. He most recently worked as the director of facilities at a community health center in Worcester, Mass. Jeff is a certified health care facility manager through the American Hospital Association, a national credential that distinguishes individuals as being among the elite in the healthcare facility management profession. He is a member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineers and the National Fire Protection Association and is currently pursuing a bachelor of science in business healthcare management from Phoenix University.
