Jay High School’s Sports Banquet
The Jay Quarterback sponsored the annual sports banquet for the varsity athletes last night, at the Jay Community Center. All students who participated in a varsity sport was recognized. Special awards: Extra man award/ youth worker, Dutch Burkhead; M.B. Gross Award/ Academic Excellence, Carly Owens; Iron Man/Woman Award/ participation in multiple sports for entire school year, Olivia Wright, Tate Upton, & Tom Tom Fischer; Merle V. North Award/ community member who goes above and beyond for the athletes at Jay, Paul Harrington.
