Racquet Round-Up Dates Announced Free Tennis Clinics Offered at Five Locations

The Pensacola Sports Association (PSA) is pleased to announce the dates and locations for the 2013 Pensacola Racquet Round Up, a series of free tennis clinics for area youth.

June 3-5 – Roger Scott Tennis Center – Ages 6-8 (8 a.m. to 10a.m.) and 9-12 (10 a.m. to noon)
June 14 – University of West Florida Tennis Courts (New this year) – Ages 6-8 (8 a.m. to 10a.m.) and 9-12 (10 a.m. to noon)
June 26 – Hollice T. Williams Park (Under I-110) – Ages 6-8 (8 a.m. to 10a.m.) and 9-12 (10 a.m. to noon)
July 25-26 – Gulf Breeze Rec Center – Ages 6-8 (8 a.m. to 10a.m.) and 9-12 (10 a.m. to noon)
July 29 – Naval Air Station Pensacola Tennis Courts (New this year) – Ages 6-8 (8 a.m. to 10a.m.) and 9-12 (10 a.m. to noon)

Any kids ages 6-12 are invited to attend the free clinics. All skill levels are welcome. The clinics are intended to introduce the game to tennis in a fun, relaxed, and learning environment. Area tennis professionals will lead the instruction.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own rackets, appropriate tennis shoes and clothes, water bottle, and sun screen. In the event a child does not have a racquet, free racquets will be available to use during the clinic.
