Belk Donates 10,000 to the Baptist Health Care Foundation
PENSACOLA, Fla. (May 2, 2013) Baptist Health Care Foundation received a gift of $10,000 from Belk department store. Belk has been a partner with the Women’s Board of the Baptist Health Care Foundation for seven years through their support of the annual Stepping Out in Style fashion show.
The Women’s Board members have volunteered thousands of hours that have resulted in more than $1.5 million in funding for the area’s only locally owned and operated health care system. The Women’s Board organization is committed to making a positive impact on the health care needs of the community through its fundraising, volunteerism and educational programs. Funds raised by the organization support indigent care, new medical technology and additional needs as approved by the Women’s Board.
Mark Faulkner, president and CEO of Baptist Health Care and Kerry Vermillion, senior vice president and CFO of Baptist Health Care along with Baptist Health Care Foundation and The Women’s Board extend their sincere appreciation to Belk for this gift and for their continued commitment to the community.
