Lady Royals Softball win District

The Lady Royals traveled to the finals of the district tournament yesterday to claim the  championship title by beating Chipley.  The game was a 5-5 tie in the top of the 4th. But the Royals scored 2 in the  bottom of the 4th to take the lead and they never looked back.   Final score was 8-6.  Sydney Lowery pitched 3 innings allowing only 1 run, to earn her 9th win of the year.  Senior, Camille Driver went 3-4 with 2 RBIs, 2 doubles, 2 runs scored. Ashlyn Geck was 1-4 with 1 RBI, Michaela Stewart went 2-4 with 1 RBI, and 1 run scored, and Bayleigh Upton was 1-1 with 1 RBI.

The Lady Royals will host Central High on April 30th.
