Jay Softball to play in District Finals Thursday

The Lady Royals Softball team beat Baker tonight 6-1 to advance to the finals for district.  The Royals will face Chipley Thursday night at 6:00.  Tonight, Taylor Moore went 4-4, Ashlynn Geck went 3-3, Olivia Wright was 2-3, and Camille Driver was 1-4.  The girls scored 2 runs on a two out single in the 5th by Camille Driver. Two more was scored on an Ashlynn Geck single in the 6th, and then 2 was scored in the 7th on a single by Taylor Moore.  Sydney Lowery pitched all 7 innings allowing only 3 hits.
