Baptist Health Care Celebrates National Volunteer Week

National Volunteer Week is April 21-27 and Baptist Health Care is honoring those who dedicate their time to the organization.  BHC volunteers perform service with an extraordinary amount of care. By giving the gift of time, volunteers make a difference in the community.

If you’re looking for a way to make a difference, consider volunteering at Baptist Health Care (BHC). Volunteers are an important part of the team of dedicated caregivers. The not-for-profit organization depends on generous individuals to provide assistance to patients, families, visitors and staff at facilities across the region.

Potential BHC volunteers should be able to serve a minimum of four hours a week. Opportunities are available in all departments throughout the health care system and at facilities located in several Gulf Coast communities. Typical responsibilities include greeting and escorting patients and visitors, providing office assistance, staffing the information desks, answering phone calls and assisting in patient care areas.

Select a location in your neighborhood. Facilities include Baptist, Gulf Breeze, Jay and Atmore Community hospitals; Baptist Medical Parks on Nine Mile Road, Navarre, the Andrews Institute, Baptist Manor and Lakeview.
