Smith Tractor recognizes three graduates of John Deere University

Three Smith Tractor Company technicians, Brandon Amos, John Ashcraft, and David Engles have
earned Master Tech Degrees

With the development of new technology and high-performance system for John Deere equipment,
it is critically important that customers receive exceptional service from highly -trained personnel.
Smith Tractor Co., Inc. participates in a comprehensive John Deere training program. Smith Tractor and
John Deere University provide employees the opportunity to reach a high level of expertise in every
dealership department.

Smith Tractor would like to express our gratitude to John Ashcraft, Brandon Amos and David Engle for
all the hard work and dedication it took to achieve the highest level of training John Deere University
offers. These three technicians now join, Phillip Thomas as Master Technicians This achievement was
accomplished by completing extensive training in the John Deere university program. They will receive a
special plaque and a leather jacket in recognition of their accomplishment.

Smith Tractor would also like to recognize our technicians, Art Patnuade, Tab Jernigan, and Keith
Stanfied for achieving Advanced Technician level. They have also worked hard to achieve the advance
technician program and will continue training to achieve the Master Technician level.

John Deere University credits are earned in various categories to ensure expertise in sales, service, or
parts departments of John Deere dealerships. The structure for this recognition is similar to achieving
credit hours in a university. This ongoing training program is just one of the tools used by Smith Tractor
Company to improve overall support and service to customers in there trade area.
