Greetings to all the Jay Historical Society Members
We hope you had a Merry Christmas and wishing you a Bless New Year. As with any new year comes changes and that is no exception for J.H.S.M. At our last members meeting, the officers for 2013 were elected. The election of new officers does not change how things are done, it is just a chance to give some well deserved rest to others. The New officers are as follow
: President – Rachel Hendricks, Vice President – Wayne Cook, Treasurer – Pat Cashman, Secretary/ office manager – Sandy Moore, Museum Curator – Earl Murphy. I know they share the same vision for the museum as the former officers did and the incoming and out going will be working closely together during this transfer. We want to thank Dot Diamond for the vision, love and enthusiasm that she has brought to this town and museum, she always has a smile on her face a spirit if we can do this! Mr. Bobby is either serious or joking.. I have seen him use his wit to conquer many sticky situations. I know that we will continue to see these two iconic people working write along side of all us volunteers.
