Jay Historical Society Meeting December 13, 6:00 until 8:30
The Speaker will be Mrs. Gail Allred. She will be speaking on how to trace your Native American ancestry and how to trace your eligibility for DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) and Sons of the American Revolution. She is a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, also. Mrs. Allred is a retired teacher Santa Rosa County Schools were she taught 40 years. She is the membership chair of Native American Creek Council of Santa Rosa County. She is a member of the Three Rivers Chapter of National Society of DAR. One of her greatest accomplishments is that she has helped people trace their ancestry, which she does on a daily basis. This will be a very informative meeting with time for question on how to trace your own lineage
