Central Boys defeat Jay Royals/Jay Girls beat Northview
The Jay gym was packed Tuesday night with the Lady Royals hosting the Northview Chiefs and the boys hosting the Central Jags. The night was action packed as the girls played. Jr Varsity and Varsity girls teams defeated the Chiefs.
In the boys, cross town rival action, Central JV group took down the JV Royals 38-21. Leading the Jags were Jesse Jernigan, Tristian Ellison, and Chasen Dixon had 6 each. AJ Nash led the Royals with 10, followed by Victor Mishoe with 6 .
Centrals varsity boys beat the Royals 53-34. Leading the scoring for Central was Nick Waters with 20 and Zac Wright with 19. Taylor Kelley led the Royals with 13.
