Mary Gladys (Allen) Howell age 87 went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 1, 2012. Mary was a native of Berrydale, FL and was born May 11, 1925 to W.J. and Herriett Allen. She was an Elder in the Community of Christ Church and attended the Brewton congregation. She was preceded on her Heavenly journey by her parents, her husband Louis B. Howell, Sr., son Michael L. Howell, four sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her son Louis B. (Rhonda) Howell Jr, her daughter Linda (Donald) Watson and step-son Gene Howell. Six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and sisters Louise Cook and Barbara Trawick many nieces and nephews she dearly loved. Funeral services will be held 3 P.M. Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Jay Funeral Home with Evangelist’s Leslie Kelly and Hubert Smith officiating. A visitation will be from 2 P.M -3 P.M. Burial will follow at the Community of Christ Cemetery in Berrydale, FL. Jay Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
