Central defeats Laurel Hill

Central’s girls JV and varsity basketball teams defeated Laurel Hill last night.   Jr. Varsity girls outscored Laurel Hill 32-15.  Leading scorers for Central: Sarah Smith with 19, Sarah Bone and Alexis Clark with 6 each.

In Varsity action the Lady Jags won 56-41.  Scoring for the Jags: M. Simmons with 28 points with 12 of those coming in the first quarter and 11 in the third.  N. Jernigan added 17 points.  Game ball was presented by Lexie Nash for Circle J Western Store.
