Baptist and Cardiology Consultants Welcome 28th Cardiologist Ibrahim Fahdi, M.D.
Baptist Health Care and Cardiology Consultants proudly welcomes board certified cardiologist Ibrahim Fahdi, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.A.S.E., to their team of 28 cardiovascular specialists serving as the region’s premier choice in heart and vascular care.
Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology, Dr. Fahdi is experienced and skilled in caring for patients with a wide variety of heart care needs, including congestive heart failure and valvular heart disease. His special interests include cardiovascular research, cardiovascular risk reduction, high-risk pregnancy with cardiovascular disease and advanced echocardiography.
In addition to bringing his innovative, quality cardiovascular care to his patients, Dr. Fahdi brings great skill in telemedicine to Cardiology Consultants, Baptist facilities and Gulf Coast region. Described as the practice of using communication technology to bring health care services to patients in distant locations, telemedicine involves a skilled physician communicating, like Dr. Fahdi, via video with patients and other health care providers to improve patient access to quality cardiovascular care.
Prior to joining Cardiology Consultants, Dr. Fahdi worked at the Central Arkansas Veteran Healthcare System in Little Rock, Ark., and served as an associate professor of medicine for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. While in Little Rock, Dr. Fahdi was also named one of the best doctors in Arkansas for three years by the Arkansas Times.
Dr. Fahdi earned his medical degree from Aleppo University Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.
Dr. Fahdi joins Cardiology Consultants in serving the region’s heart and vascular needs at nine convenient Baptist Health Care office locations, including his main office at 1717 North E Street, Baptist Medical Tower 3, Suite 331 in Pensacola.
